We praise the Lord today for our little boy, Calvin Blair, in whom we are very very well pleased! It’s hard to believe that an entire year has passed. Below are highlights from each of his twelve months on this earth (plus a bonus for this October). Enjoy!
October—On the 25th, Calvin Blair Turley is ushered into the world
November—Calvin travels to Mama’s birthplace (Alabama) and meets his Great-Grandparents
December—Calvin goes abroad again, this time to Papa’s home state of Texas
January—Calvin bundles up for his first ever winter
February—By this time, Calvin has become notorious for sleeping very little
March—Six states in six months—visiting friends in North Carolina for a wedding
April—Bringing dominion to all areas of life… Calvin get his first haircut
May—Calvin joins three generations of mothers on Mother’s Day
June—Calvin sits in his chair next to Papa while he works
July—Calvin is very attentive during a Lord’s Day sermon
August—Calvin begins to crawl and a whole new world of exploration is opened
September—Calvin finds a particular thrill in riding horsies
October—Our beloved boy is a year old!
