On April 20, God took home one of his faithful. A true warrior, Mr. Phillips fought with tenacity against the rising tide of liberalism in America, and strove with unwavering principle to uphold God’s law in the civil sphere. Attending his memorial service was a hallmark moment in our lives as we heard testimony after sterling testimony of his selfless devotion to his family, and his unflinching commitment to honor God against any and all opposition in the political arena. As it was said at his memorial “…a great man has fallen this day”, but the bar has been raised very high indeed.
