Weeks of hard work and preparation (on my wife’s part, anyway) paid off this weekend as we journeyed in nineteenth-century garb to nearby Linden to enjoy a variety of rousing speeches and a reenactment of the Yankee troops’ attack on the town during the War of Northern Aggression.
