Ingredients
1 loaf bread
1 (8oz.) pkg cream cheese, softened
8 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
2/3 cups half and half
1/2 cups maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cloves
Instructions
- Cut loaf of bread into cubes and place in a lightly greased 9×13″ pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese. at medium speed until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add milk, half and half, maple syrup and vanilla and mix well. Pour evenly over bread cubes, cover with foil, and refrigerate overnight.
- Following morning: Remove pan from fridge and let sit out for half an hour, while preheating oven to 375°F. After half hour is up, bake casserole for 35 mins (removing foil first). Enjoy hot with maple syrup! 🙂
